Forge your own horseshoe kissing heart
Join Darren, specialist heritage blacksmith from True North Trades at St Mark's Church in Millfield, Sunderland. Learn the ancient art of blacksmithing to create your very own unique horseshoe kissing heart to take away with you at the end of the session.
You may have seen Darren on the TV recently; he was featured on Robson Green's Weekend Escapes teaching Mr Green himself how to create a beautiful horseshoe heart of his own!
All materials and equipment will be provided, or bring along a horseshoe that has personal meaning and significance to you as a perfect way to forge an extra-meaningful piece of artwork to take away and cherish. Hot and cold refreshments will also be provided
