Free Lino Printing Workshop 21/04/26 9:30am-12:30pm

This welcoming and creative lino printing workshop offers a relaxed space for adults to explore a traditional printmaking technique while connecting with others in their community. Guided by an experienced facilitator, participants will learn how to design, carve and print their own unique artworks using lino, gaining hands-on skills in a supportive and informal environment. No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided.

Funded through Sunderland City Council’s Coalfields Area Committee, the project has been developed to support mental health and wellbeing by creating opportunities for people to slow down, focus on a mindful activity and express themselves creatively. The sessions are designed to gently reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation, encouraging conversation, shared learning and the building of new friendships over time.
