About the event
Join us for a Vitrified Plant Pot Workshop and enjoy a relaxed, creative session where you'll make and decorate your own ceramic plant pot.
Guided by an experienced tutor, you'll learn how to shape, decorate and personalise your pot using clay before it is professionally fired to create a durable, vitrified finish. No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided.
Funded by Sunderland City Council's Coalfields Area Committee, these sessions have been created to support mental health and wellbeing by giving people the opportunity to slow down, be creative and connect with others in a friendly, welcoming environment. As well as learning a new skill, you'll have the chance to meet new people, build confidence and enjoy some mindful time for yourself.
To take part, you must be aged 18 or over and live within the Coalfields area of Sunderland.
